  • Limited selection of applications compared to other companies such as Hostgator. However comparing the prices, FatCow is a winner if you don’t need a lot of apps.

FatCow advertises their packages as unlimited disk space and bandwidth, but take note that usage is limited to their TOS. This is a shared web hosting account, so anything excessive may be suspended or even banned. Therefore FatCow is not applicable if you are planning to use it for intensive activities, such as file-sharing, photo gallery (may have issue if your traffic is big), etc. Actually this limitation is almost imposed by all web hosting companies, unless you are really paying premium prices for unlimited bandwidth and diskspace.

For legit purposes and/or moderate traffic, FatCow is really  a bargain. Highly recommended for small-medium business owners and wordpress bloggers.
